PRESS RELEASE. Sciety welcomes Thomas Eldered as Senior Advisor. Thomas has over 35 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and is co-founder of Recipharm and founder of the investment firm Flerie. His background as an entrepreneur, business leader and investor brings valuable perspectives on investments and building successful companies in the life science sector.
Thomas Eldered began his career at Pharmacia, where he held several senior management positions. In the 90s, Thomas co-founded Recipharm, a company which grew into one of the world’s leading contract pharmaceutical manufacturers under his leadership as CEO. The company was listed on Nasdaq Stockholm in 2014 and, by the end of his tenure as CEO, had annual revenue of approximately SEK 11 billion and nearly 9,000 employees, with operations in 10 countries.
Thomas also founded the investment firm Flerie in 2011, which is now listed on Nasdaq Stockholm and has an investment portfolio valued at approximately SEK 2.7 billion. Thomas serves as Executive Chairman of Flerie and has extensive experience working with life science companies at different stages of development as an entrepreneur, business leader and investor.
