Maria has over 25 years’ experience in life science, with a focus on international commercial roles in leadership and business development.
For 16 years, Maria held senior commercial positions at Galderma, including Business Development Manager for EMEA and General Manager for the Nordics. She later co-founded Nordic Medical Solutions Scandinavia, where, as VP and Partner, she built a Nordic distribution business in collaboration with global medtech and pharmaceutical companies. In recent years, she has also worked as a consultant, supporting medtech and biotech companies with product launches and commercial establishment in the Nordic region.
Maria holds a Master’s degree in Molecular Biotechnology from Uppsala University and is a board member of Sciety’s portfolio company Synartro.
As Investment Manager at Sciety, Maria’s role is to identify and analyse life science companies for potential investment.
