NEWS. Sciety and Sciety Venture Partners have invested in Evidence, a healthtech company that has developed a digital platform for operational planning and management in healthcare. The funding will be used to scale up sales and marketing, expand the customer base, and further enhance the platform’s functionality. Among the new investors is Curus, a Swedish investment firm focused on health and healthcare services.

The demand for digital solutions to manage resources and capacity in healthcare is growing rapidly. The global market for software supporting production and capacity management in the sector is valued at around USD 4 billion and is projected to grow to USD 7.4 billion by 2033 – an annual growth rate of 16.6 per cent. The workforce management segment is also expanding significantly, with an expected annual growth rate of 13.2 percent by 2030.
“Evidence addresses one of the most pressing challenges in healthcare – using resources more efficiently and sustainably. In a short time, they have developed a scalable and in-demand solution that delivers clear value to both healthcare providers and patients. We see a compelling combination of market potential, technical excellence, and strong execution within the team,” says Andreas Lindblom, CEO of Sciety.
Launched in March 2023, Evidence’s platform is already used by both public and private healthcare providers across Sweden. Users from various roles—including operations managers, business developers, clinical leaders, HR professionals, and finance teams—have provided positive feedback. By integrating patient needs analysis, resource allocation, productivity benchmarking and workforce planning into a single tool, Evidence empowers healthcare organisations to make more data-driven decisions and plan for the long term.
“Today’s healthcare system lacks the right tools to plan resources based on actual needs. Our platform enables healthcare providers to increase patient-facing time and productivity within existing budgets—sustainably and at all levels, from strategic to operational. With the backing of Sciety and Curus, we are now scaling up to reach more healthcare organisations in Sweden and beyond,” says David Påhlman, CEO of Evidence.
